Corporate Sustainability means ensuring an organization's activities are not compromising the environment, are socially acceptable, and provide economic benefits to the communities in which it operates. Moreover, it implies that a company's activities are not compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
Ontario Realty Corporation is committed to developing a sustainability framework and has initiated a broad-reaching sustainability program within the company.
Key sustainability principles include:
- Employing integrated planning and design approaches.
- Optimizing energy performance using a whole-building as well as system-of-buildings approach.
- Providing safe, healthy and productive built environments.
- Conserving and enhancing environmental resources by doing more with less.
- Promoting environmental stewardship

We recognize the vital role government realty assets play, not only in supporting service delivery but also in protecting and sustaining our environmental and cultural heritage. Our goal is to demonstrate leadership in implementing new and creative approaches to responding to environmental challenges.
