Ontario Realty Corporation has also developed a sustainability framework and has initiated a broad-reaching sustainability program within the company.
Key sustainability principles include:
- Employing integrated planning and design approaches.
- Optimizing energy performance using a whole-building as well as system-of-buildings approach.
- Providing safe, healthy and productive built environments.
- Conserving and enhancing environmental resources by doing more with less.
- Promoting environmental stewardship
