Ontario Realty Corporation has also developed a sustainability framework and has initiated a broad-reaching sustainability program within the company.

Key sustainability principles include:

  • Employing integrated planning and design approaches.
  • Optimizing energy performance using a whole-building as well as system-of-buildings approach.
  • Providing safe, healthy and productive built environments.
  • Conserving and enhancing environmental resources by doing more with less.
  • Promoting environmental stewardship
