MaryLee Farrugia - Executive V.P., General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

MaryLee Farrugia joined the ORC as General Counsel in January 2000, and is responsible for the management and delivery of a full range of legal services for the corporation, including real estate, corporate/commercial and litigation matters. She also oversees the policy function and freedom of information and protection of privacy function for ORC. As Corporate Secretary, MaryLee oversees the administration for the ORC Board of Directors and its four Committees. MaryLee began her legal career with Holden Murdoch & Finlay in Toronto and she practiced for a number of years with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General prior to joining ORC. MaryLee Farrugia has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 1991. MaryLee has also graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors - Directors Education Program at the Rothman School of Management.
